Always great food at the Gourmet India. The taste and the spices blend together perfectly. The naan bread is freshly made. Staff are very nice.
Foods okay service could be better!
Love the spicy chicken vindaloo
I tried to get an order to go mid afternoon when there were no other customers. The man at the counter didn’t give me enough time to fully say my order. He simply guessed based on what I started to say and yelled the order out without actually letting me say what I wanted. Ended up with the wrong kind of naan, and everything put on a tray instead of to go. When I pointed out that I had been asking for it to go he simply gave me a small container (which wasn’t enough to fit my order in) and walked away. I ended up having to get a container from a different counter in the food court. My standards are already kinda low because it’s a good court, but there was no reason for such terrible service. Just a staff looking to shoo potential customers away. I won’t bother coming back here again after this.
The old guy at the cashier is rude, seems he is the owner. The staff who is serving are good and helpful they know how to talk with customer.Food is not good not bad as no choice other then that in food court.May be the owner needs to learn from his employee
Very bad tasteless food I ever had.
All vegetarian menu. After several visits the food was consistently very well prepared. Try Gourmet Idea. You will not miss the meat.
Boston is getting so many Indian restaurants they are like pizza places. This one is good, service it excellent and the prices will not empty your wallet.
Very good food, good prices, fast service.
Convenient Indian food in the mall. Fast and affordable with variety of combo options. Very few places have combo meal options for Indian food in Boston, because it’s in the mall they adapted their menu for quick bite and it’s great. Variety of tandoori meat options along with naan varieties. Must try places in the mall.
Advantage - Location. If you're in mall and hungry..feel like having Indian food - No other option. So, they've got that right. Food is very oily and few times we tried - it didnt go well with our stomach later on. Looks like new employees or junior employees here are polite and welcoming, senior ones are very close to being rude. They don't list samosa chaat on the menu, but if anyone wants to try that - the price is close to $9, which I have never paid elsewhere in much better Indian restaurants. Too many things are not right with this place - and this is our feedback after multiple visits.
Their vindaloo is bomb. Whenever I’m at the Burlington mall I have to stop there for some. I’ve tried other vindaloos (even one from Iceland) and this doesn’t compare.
I really enjoy to eat in there
Food is not fresh, as well as rude staff!!!!!
This place should really be boycotted. My family and I have eaten at numerous ethnic restaurants in the US and abroad. Visiting this place was just meant to be a quick stop in our New England vacation. This place serves up the worst food ever of any restaurant, topped only by the bottomless pit customer service, and rudeness of the staff. Never seen a restaurant owner who gives himself or herself the liberty to use distasteful and foul language when additional paper plates were requested, water was requested, and when it was pointed out that there was some foreign debris in the food that needed attention. YOU DO NOT EVER TELL A CUSTOMER TO GO TO HELL. Even the tiny village restaurant owner in Africa, Asia, Europe, or the Middle East knows that. Shame on you guys, and especially not this in the United States of America!
great place and great food
Chicken Tikka masala was a little sweet, but saag paneer was nice. Hubs enjoyed his food, especially kheema Naan. Not bad for food court dining! PS they give way too much rice with combo entree
WARNING: False Advertising!!! 1. They say adding Lamb add $0.50 to order but at register they charge $0.95. 2. It is NOT Lamb meat, rather is Lamb sausage!!! This is false Advertising and ilegal!!!!
The most oily and disgusting food. They charge as much as a sit down restaurant. My family and I have fallen sick every time anyone has consumed any food there. I am surprised that the restaurant passes the FDA standards. The food is old and unhygienic.
Nice place to get quick Indian lunch
The food was really good but an hour after opening, they still didn't have all of the selections out. They had only half, if that. The taste of the food will make me keep eating there though.
Exellelent food . Especially we loved all vege foods. Workers are so kindly and helpful. Delicious food.
Very bad...it says kathi roll but they gave me stuff in naan...they do not know the meaning of kathi roll....fooling people
Amazing.
The people work there are very very rude. All I ordered was 2 garlic naan and the person gave me a lot of attitude for it and only gave me one. They made me wait 25 minutes to buy just naan. They also asked me to wait 15 minutes just so he could ask the chef to make the naan, the man had no manners and behaved mean. Poor manners and poor business.
This is microwave restaurant anything you order they will microwave samosa.aloo tikki nothing is fresh
Food was.....ok. But customer service is none existent the curries weren't that tasty both manager and coworkers rude and didn't explain the pricing they just took our money. (Yes I don't mind paying for my food) but at least sell us something
we go to this place very frequently. The food is very good, and the taste is pretty consistent all the time.
Despite being in the middle of a mall food court, this is probably one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in the area according to my Indian friends. The food is always fresh, they have the best selections and you get a lot of food for your dollar. The staff here is friendly and I dont mind schlepping into the mall to grab this food on the way home. It is a fresher alternative to nasty food court Chinese or Cajun chicken garbage offerings.
No so good. Doesn't taste well. The options are enough but not at all tasty.I liked Mango Lassi. But the naan and curries are not so tasty.
I like the Tikka masala. Very tasty and tangy.
The cashier lady was very rude. Grow up, nobody needs your attitude. Nobody is there to eat for free. Will never return back. 2 stars for their Naan .. they make it really good.
Very very rude. They really don't understand customer service.
The food is excellent. I recommend tying the salmon tikka, masala chai and the gulab jamun. Bon appetite!
If you can get past the poor service, you shall be rewarded with the tastiest foof you ever had at a mall food court!
I really enjoy the Chicken Tikka and the Palak Paneer here, and the mango lassi is just divine... The fresh naan is a huge plus too. When I've been here the staff have never been anything but courteous.
Pretty decent for Mall food, their samosa chat is large and serves two...at least for us it did
Amazing Indian food. Achaar (pickle) was awesome.
Good
Decent place if you have a craving for Indian food.Obviously not high-cuisine by any stretch, but scratches the itch.
Best Indian food
Had halal lamb. Was very good, would be happy to come back again.
Great food. Especially the samosa, naan and malai kofta (available usually only on weekends) - the best !
What a find; and that too, in a mall food court!!They were not Halaal, when I was there in 2016, so I had to settle for a vegetarian offering. I had the Channa Masala, Black eyed Bean curry on Basmati Rice with Masala Chai. It was excellent, to say the least. Authentic taste, generous portion and value for money. Had such a good time that I went back a few days later!
This counter is recommended for truly spicy chicken vindaloo. Unfortunately, almost everything is chicken here, and the vegetarian dishes aren't that tasty. I love chana masala, for example, but have never had such a bland one as is served here. The mango lassi is fine, the naan is not bad and always very hot and fresh.
Best Indian food in the area and if it was as expensive as sit down, which it is not, it would be worth the sit down price.
Amazing food, Fresh Tandori Bread. we ordered veg Kathi roll, Kadhi Rice, Paneer tikka masala, Naan. Everything was delicious and very fresh. I love the Punjabi kadhi and kathi roll. If you are visiting Burlington mall and looking for authentic Indian food, My best recommendation is Gourmet of India. It’s inside food court.
Way too salty and unevenly cooked.
Ok
Our go to place on the weekends for chana bhatura and kathi rolls when we were in Boston. We try and make a detour to visit this place when we are back on the east coast. The location is in a food court but produces consistent delicious food.
